Our Aims
As a local community group we are determined, honest and caring about local people of all abilities and the provision of inclusive & accessible local services and opportunities for everyone.
We are a diverse mix of local people who are passionate about disability issues, carers rights, older people’s concerns & championing those residents in our community who feel disengaged or isolated
Our aims as a resident led group are to:
- Get local people involved & join our community group
- Share information and opportunities through local knowledge and expertise
- Hear about the issues which affect local people and take action
We’re passionate too about supporting & promoting our local organisations and services across Knowsley.
KULO are working together in partnership to:
- Improve the lives of people of all abilities across Knowsley.
- Share information and opportunities through local knowledge and expertise
- Develop a strong and united voice for local people
- Improve and integrate existing services as well as help shape & influence new services.

Our community group of residents meet every last Thursday of the month from 10 – 12pm at the Centre for Independent Living, Unit 11 Brickfields, Huyton Business Park, Huyton L36 6HY and all residents are welcome to attend.
Together we can achieve more – the more people that join KULO the stronger our voices will be!
