Really Useful Wednesday’s

We are a Knowsley based, people powered disability community group who focus on ability. So we came up with a bright idea to create ‘Really Useful Wednesday’s’ which will  support and enable local people to take centre stage and deliver a series of resident led workshops/community sessions which will share and showcase their skills with the wider community.

IMG_8074We know through our own individual experiences that there’s a wealth of talent and skills in abundance out there in Knowsley.

It’s also important to us that there are live platforms and opportunities for local people to share their passion, hobby or interest with others – and get some experience too!

From glass decorating, creative writing, woodwork, outdoor bunting making, candle making workshops….it’s over to you!

“We want thank everyone who came over this morning to the Centre for Independent Living to support Vicky as she showed us how to make scented candles.”

Sewing SessionsDo you have a skill, hobby or interest you’d like to share with us as part of our ‘Really Useful Wednesday’s’?

If so we can provide you with a small budget for materials & equipment and not forgetting a lovely & willing to learn audience down at Knowsley’s Centre for Independent Living.

We are a CAN DO local organisation in Knowsley so call or text Nancie on 07715 392 158 email:hello@kulo.org.uk

If you’d like to be part of our audience – everyone is welcome to take part every Wednesday from 10 – 12pm at Knowsley’s Centre for Independent Living, L36 6HY. You never know it may just inspire you to run a ‘Really Useful’ workshop!
