Join Us for a Stroll in the Park

Join us for some gentle exercise and join a very social ‘Stroll in the Park’.

Each month our community group, the Knowsley User Led Organisation will be meeting up at Stadt Moers Park to take part in an accessible guided talk and walk around the park, hosted by Gordon from Knowsley’s Ranger Service.

Our relaxing meet up takes place every last Thursday of the month, meeting at the Stadt Moers Ranger Centre, Pottery Lane, Whiston L35 3RG at 10am – we’ll set off from the centre at 10.30am.

We want to ensure everyone regardless of their disability or health condition can take part in gentle exercise – carers are welcome to join in too.

Please note: Approximate walking time is 30 minutes and importantly you can do as much or as little as you want–no pressure.

Toilet facilities are available at the centre, refreshments are also available, and not forgetting some good company and fresh air!

If you have any specific access requirements get in touch with our support worker Nancie 07715 392 158 and we’ll do our very best to make sure you can take part.

Future ‘Stroll in the Park’ dates are as follows: 23 May, 27 June, 25 July, 26 September 24 October and 28 November 2019. All welcome.

PLEASE NOTE: The original start time (9.30am) has changed due to attendee feedback at our very first ‘Stroll in the Park’ April session. Future ‘stroll’s’ will meet up at 10am and set off at 10.30am.
