Help for Knowsley Young Carers

Knowsley CarersCarers are the main helpers for their parents, grandparents or other people they are close to. That person could be ill or have other problems which mean they need a lot of looking after.

If you are under 18 and help someone in this way, you are a young carer and help if you need it is on hand.

Caring includes helping someone eating, getting washed and dressed or anything that they can’t do without your help. It may also be doing lots of cleaning around the house, doing the shopping or having to pay bills and look after money.

If you care for someone it can make it hard for you to see friends, do schoolwork or things that other families might do together. It might even make you feel sad, angry or lonely. Talking to Knowsley Young Carers can help.
